Intelligent Future was founded by Paul R. Bruening, Ph.D. as a means to build better approaches and systems for his innovative projects.

A creative approach to discovery:

Each project is custom designed to illuminate a productive understanding of the culture, needs and intellectual transactions that transpire in a given marketplace. We look at the relationships that are formed with ideas, brands, products and how these grow and/or diminish with experience.

Insight is about discovery. In this spirit, Paul has endeavored to become a better strategist and psychological scientist through his ongoing professional development and participation in the development of a systematic approach to creativity.

Training and experience:

Professionally experienced in consumer strategy and academically trained as a social researcher in interview and group research methods. He has conducted thousands of sessions including UX testing, CX optimization, focus groups, ethnographic and staged interviews on a myriad of topics (e.g., millennial relationship with luxury, physician prescribing habits, new product usability, customer/patient journey, audience engagement, fan behavior, consumer behavior, luxury travel need states, personal spending habits during recessions, consumer blindness to indicators of online security, et. al.).

In addition to running his consultancy, he has earned a Ph.D. in Cognition, Brain, and Behavior from the City University of New York.
